Ginger Stretch Panel Dress - The Thick of It Blue

The Ginger Dress is an old favourite making its return. One of my bestselling dress shapes from 2018–2022, with a couple of small tweaks that make the fit even better.

The square neckline and printed centre panel create a strong vertical line through the body, framed by solid navy organic cotton stretch knit. It gives you plenty of colour and print without taking over the whole dress — and makes Ginger particularly good for those days when you want to look a little more polished while still feeling completely comfortable.

This time I've made the centre panel in stretch knit rather than woven fabric, so it moves with the rest of the dress and sits beautifully flat against the body.

The shape is a gently fitted A-line — there's room through the hip and skirt, but it isn't particularly flared.

And yes, I've added my big flat pockets which are big enough for a modern phone.

Made from breathable, stretchy organic cotton knit, Ginger has the kind of slightly-dressed-up appearance that works beautifully for work, dinners and events, without any of the digging, pinching or general discomfort that can come with actually dressing up.

This release has a cap sleeve, square neckline and falls just below the knee. Ready made now, with made-to-order available during the next MTO window.
