How it works

There are tiered levels of entry, encouraging you to take photos or videos of yourself in your Slow Fashion Australia pieces. 

Entries are calculated per review type, per garment - that means if you’ve ordered several pieces this year, you can get loads of entries!

Entry Tiers per Garment

Text only review = 1 entry

Photo & text review = 2 entries

If photo is taken in good natural light = 3 entries

Video & text review = 5 entries

Additional 3 entries per photo post to social media 

Additional 5 entries per video post to social media

 

Maximum entries per garment = 10

which requires leaving a video review on the website and then posting it to social media and tagging us

How do I leave a review? Plus

Check your email for our review request email. We send those out 10 days after we ship your order. 

Search sender email: clare@slowfashionaustralia.com.au

Check your spam folder as they often end up in there.

Alternatively, you can navigate to the products you purchased on the website and scroll down to the "Customer Reviews" section. 

It's helpful if you use the same email you made your purchase with.
How do I upload a photo or video to my review? Plus

If you leave a review via the review email you will be prompted to upload one there.

If you're leaving a review directly on the product page, scroll down to the "Customer Reviews" section. There is an upload button here for your photos or videos.
How do I upload a photo or video to a review I did earlier? Plus

If you've already done a review and would like to get entries by adding a photo you can do any of these things:

1. Sign into your Slow fashion Australia account and go to the "My reviews" section, find the review you want to update, and add photos or videos there.

2. Email me your pic at clare@slowfashionaustralia.com.au and I'll upload it for you

3. Click through on the review update request email I recently sent you. Search email sender clare@slowfashionaustralia.com.au
What do you mean by "good natural light"? Plus

Clear, well lit and nicely composed, images speak volumes. They really show off our clothing.

It's so helpful for new customers who don't know our stuff to see the garments on you and not just models. 

This is why I'm offering extra entries for great pics, because they help sell our stuff! 

The criteria for this is:

1. Show the full garment

2. Take the photo in natural light. Outside is best, but inside or on a verandah is fine too, as long as its bright and the garment and colours are shown clearly.
Tagging on Socials
How do I tag my pic on Instagram? Plus

1. Post your pic or vid to your grid and click the "tag people" button. You can tag us @slow.fashion.australia OR better yet, invite me to be a collaborator so I can show it directly on my grid.

2. Share your pic or video to your stories and click "mention" @slow.fashion.australia
How do I tag my pic on Facebook? Plus

Create a post on facebook

Click the blue person tagging icon

Search Slow Fashion Australia and click

2. Create your story, then use the "@" symbol followed by Slow Fashion Australia to create a tag, or use the dedicated sticker option (look for the "@" symbol on the sticker menu) to select the page from suggestions, making sure you've liked or followed the business page first for the best results
Can I still get entries for the socials if I don't have social media? Plus

Yes!

If you email me at clare@slowfashionaustralia.com.au explicitly saying you give me permission to post them to my socials I will add socials entries.

How does it work if I email you my pics? Plus

I will post your pics to Instagram and Facebook and tag you.

In your email to me, just pop in your insta @handle and/or your Facebook name.

If you don't have socials I will use your first name on the image only.

When will I know if I won? Plus

The winner will be drawn on Friday January 30th, 2026.

I will do a live story on socials drawing the winner. I'll reach out to the winner via email and if I haven't heard back within 2 weeks I will draw a new winner.

How will I know if I won? Plus

I will send out an email on the day of the announcement to the winner. You can add this email to your contacts to make sure it doesn't go to spam, clare@slowfashionaustralia.com.au

Once I've confirmed I can contact the winner, I will send a newsletter to all participants announcing the winner.

Can I check how many entries I have? Plus

Yes! Just ask me. Email me or send me a message on socials.

I will be collecting entries using a spreadsheet. If you'd like to know how many entries you have, please ask to find out.
What if I don't want my photo to be shared? Plus

Thats fine! However, I can only give you one entry per garment for written reviews. 

I am trying to get pics out there of you, (yes you!) wearing our beautiful pieces, so I would love to share your pics on the socials.
